Are you hiring 'Journeymen'?

The obsession with so many businesses to find the right person in the same industry often creates failure and underperformance. The right people, particularly in sales and sales leadership, those who do consistently well, often only move due to circumstance, business consolidation, a buy out, a new director or cultural shift that make them start to think what else is out there.


That leaves 'the rest', those who move every two or three years. Why do this if you are a great and consistent performer, well, generally speaking we all know that don't we..... but!! they're available and we have a gap to fill!


B2B sales and sales leadership are a vocation that require discipline, structure, drive and are always backed up by a strong 'why'. All we need on top of that is the acumen and willingness to learn, absorb, retain and utilise.


Don't be blinkered, don't limit your business and it's future. We know what good looks like, we've been it, we've built it, we've led it.
