Our client is a successful vehicle solutions provider that specialises in light commercial vehicles.  Long established and with a great reputation there isn't anything these guys can't provide in terms of funding and different brands when it comes to vans. 

 

We have the privilege of helping them find a talented salesperson who backs their ability to find new business, and their ability to close sales opportunities that will be generated for you by the business.

The Role

 

In a nutshell, your job is to find homes for light commercial vehicles and in doing so help the business with their continued growth. A day in the life will be varied, with no two customers the same.  You'll have the ability to provide supply only, and offer your customers a wide rage of different funding methods.  As a broker, and with lots of options, your opportunity to write business will be endless, with lots of inbound leads to support your own efforts.

 

About You

 

​You may be working for a brokerage, or a contract hire provider, and frustrated at the lack of tools at your fingertips or at the restrictions imposed by limited options.  You're the sort of person that loves to help others, who is consultative, disciplined and FCA compliant.  You will have excellent communication skills you’ll never tell a customer what they want to hear. You only ever tell the truth and manage expectations properly.

 

You will be somebody who is naturally curious.  Somebody who is unafraid to put hard yards into success and definitely somebody who loves the financial rewards that brings.​

 

Skills you will need to be successful

 

  • Experience and success selling commercial vehicles and/or contract hire to businesses
  • A tenacious can-do attitude driven by a powerful vision of success
  • Great diary and time management
  • The acumen required to understand a customers’ problems and challenges and relate those to solutions you can provide
  • The ability and discipline required to find and manage your sales opportunities (you will get fed opportunities but no good salesperson will rely on leads to deliver their vision of success)
  • The ability to generate a solid pipeline of properly qualified prospects
  • The discipline to record activity and forecast  your business accurately
  • The acumen to know when to “do a deal” and when to walk away
  • The ability to close business
  • Customer management skills that build solid relationships, for the customer, for our client and for you
