£25,000 Salary - Uncapped Commission - £5,000 guaranteed bonus to allow for any supply issues

 

Our client is one of the largest commercial vehicle bodybuilders in the UK.  Supplying thousands of converted vehicles to the van rental industry, local authorities, waste management and traffic management companies, their success in the past decade has been incredible.

 

At the heart of what they do is old fashioned customer service, and we have been tasked with recruiting a Field Sales Executive to manage existing customers, build great relationships and ensure all their needs are taken care of.

The Role

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, in a nutshell your job is engage existing customers in the SME market and ensure that our client is the first port of call for any commercial vehicle conversions.

 

About You

 

​You may be currently working in a commercial vehicle dealership and longing to explore opportunities outside of that environment. 

 

You will be the sort of person that loves to help customers, gets a buzz from taking orders and who is consultative, organised and disciplined. You will have excellent communication skills you’ll never tell a customer what they want to hear, only ever the truth.

 

You will be somebody who is naturally curious.  Somebody who is unafraid to put hard yards into success and definitely somebody who loves the financial rewards that brings.​

 

Skills you will need to be successful:

 

  • Experience and success selling vans business to businesses
  • A tenacious can-do attitude driven by a powerful WHY
  • Great diary and time management
  • The acumen required to understand a customers’ problems and challenges and relate those to solutions you can provide
  • The ability and discipline manage a sales pipeline
  • The discipline to record activity and forecast  your business accurately
  • The acumen to know when to “do a deal” and when to walk away
  • The ability to close business
  • Customer management skills that build solid relationships, for the customer, for our client and for you
