Our client is a successful vehicle solutions provider that specialises in cars, vans, 4x4’s, hybrid and electric vehicles. Long established with a great reputation, there isn't anything these guys can't provide in terms of funding and different brands when it comes to vehicles.

 

We’ve been tasked to find talented Account Managers, with a primary focus on customer retention through great quality service and good negotiation, building upon already strong relationships with funders, manufacturers and dealer groups.

The Role:

 

In a nutshell, your job is to drive renewals and growth from an allocated blend of existing private and business customers.  The new business team, hand over newly won business customers, and your job is then to grow the account. A day in the life will be varied, with no two customers the same. You'll have the ability to provide vehicles and offer your customers a wide range of different ancillary products to enhance the deals.

 

About You:

 

​You may be working for a brokerage, or a dealer group and frustrated at the lack of tools at your fingertips or at the restrictions imposed by limited options. You're the sort of person that wants to help others, who is consultative, disciplined and FCA compliant. You will have excellent communication skills you’ll never simply tell a customer what you think they want to hear.

 

You will be somebody who is naturally curious, who is willing to put hard yards into succeeding and definitely somebody who loves the financial rewards that brings.​

 

Skills you will need to be successful

  • Experience & success selling vehicles and/or contract hire.
  • A tenacious can-do attitude driven by a powerful vision of success.
  • Great diary and time management.
  • The acumen to understand a customers’ problems & challenges, then relate those to solutions you can provide.
  • The ability & discipline required to find/manage the sales opportunities.
  • The discipline to record activity and forecast your business accurately.
  • The commercial sense to know when to “do a deal” and when to walk away.
  • The ability to close business.
