Business Development Manager - Vehicle Contract hire (field based)
£25,000 salary plus uncapped commission - OTE Circa £60,000

With almost every major contract hire funder in the Uk, wholesaling into their business, our client supplies all makes and models of cars and commercial vehicles, including those with conversions and EVs.
We have the privilege of supporting the company’s plans to grow by helping them find talented and experienced motor industry sales professionals who back themselves to win fleet business, and who want to take control of their earning potential (can you imagine the ability to close business when you can literally provide the best deals in the market on an make or model?).

The Role
In a nutshell our client provides contract hire and other fleet related services to businesses, so you will need a proven ability to find and win customers through lead generation, business networking, social media, engagement by telephone, remote meeting, on-line meetings and face to face meetings.
Utopia would be that you already have a robust customer base that knows you, likes you, and will follow you to help give you a great start.
How much you earn is down to you and our client is offering a generous percentage of revenue, in addition to salary.

About You
Our most important requirement is that you are honest with yourself and honest with our client.
You may be working for a brokerage, or a contract hire provider, and frustrated at the lack of tools at your fingertips or at the restrictions imposed by limited funding options. You’re probably telling yourself over and over that you could be more successful if you had more options and more freedom.
You will be the sort of person that loves to help others, who is consultative, disciplined and compliant. You will have excellent communication skills you’ll never tell a customer what they want to hear. You only ever tell the truth and manage expectations properly.
You will be somebody who is naturally curious. Somebody who is unafraid to put hard yards into success and definitely somebody who loves the rewards that brings.
