Salary: £22,000

Our client is a leading North East company which are very visible in the business community.

 

They have grown steadily over the past 5 years and are now in a position where they are looking to add an experienced Import / Export Administrator to their team.

As many companies are now looking to the future and wondering about import an export this role is vital in ensuring our industries continue to trade overseas.

The role is based on the outskirts of Durham city centre with public transport links available from most cities.

The Role

The role of an Import / Export Administrator is a vital part of our clients support network; it will include the following:
 

  • Liaising with clients to help them through the stages of import and export paperwork

  • Ensuring all EC Certificates of Origin, Arab British Certificates of Origin, EUR1 and A.TR are completed properly

  • Processing export documentation

  • Ensuring accurate records are completed throughout the full process

  • Offering advice to new businesses that are struggling with understanding and implementing processes

 

 

The Person

The ideal person for the Import / Export Administrator position will have experience in the following areas:

  • A good working knowledge of all import and export paperwork and how to complete effectively

  • An understanding of current legislation and how potential changes may affect SME businesses

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Confident in talking with customers in depth

  • Working with a CRM system and updating records

  • Using Microsoft packages where required
