Energy Management Consultant - North Tyneside

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

My client is a leading specialist in environment and energy services. This includes sustainability, energy services, energy procurement and energy management.


Based in the North East they are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Energy Management Consultant who has experience in energy services.

Our client is an extremely ethical company so will always look for customer satisfaction and retention above making a large profit.

The Role

The role of an Energy Management Consultant involves the following:
 

 

  • Calling SME and Corporate companies to discuss their energy services

  • Organising a meeting to visit site to understand their energy usage

  • Look at options available for pricing and also for renewable energy

  • Preparing tenders and proposals where necessary

  • Implementing changes for customers

  • Understanding complex energy and environmental issues

  • Ensuring the customer is the 1st priority

  • Be passionate about sustainable energy

The Person

 

This role is an Energy Management Consultant is a mix of face to face and telephone consultancy, so the ideal person will need to have the following:

 

  • Experience of business development within the energy services sector is must for this position

  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality

  • Driven to out-perform targets

  • Experience of using a CRM system

  • Experience of closing deals over the phone and face to face

  • Good balance of working as part of a team but also on individual projects

  • A good understanding of developing strategic strategies with customer to ensure they understand the process and outcome

  • A full driving licence
