Business Development Manager - North East

Salary £24,000 to £30,000 - per annum plus uncapped OTE

Our client is a privately owned and very successful media business that owns a number of UK radio stations and expanding rapidly throughout the country.

Having moved into the North East market and launched new stations here, they now need a talented salesperson with the drive, ambition and passion to go out and win new business for their airtime advertising slots.

This really is a great opportunity and you will grow with the business as they achieve their business targets and milestones over the coming years.

Benefits

  • A generous basic salary of £24 - £30,000 depending on your experience

  • Uncapped commission in addition to the above salary

  • 20 days holiday entitlement plus the Bank Holidays (28 days in total)

The Role

  • To win and manage new customers in the north east sales territory

  • To carry out outcome based lead generation activities that ensure you get in front of prospective new clients

  • To adopt a consultative sales approach that ensures a client receives a robust value proposition

  • To achieve sensible and agreed sales targets

  • Maintaining and updating the client database

  • Provide accurate forecasting to the Sales Manager

 

The Person
 

You will be a people person at heart, with excellent experience selling directly to businesses in the SME and large corporate market. Most importantly you need to be excited at the opportunity, with fire in your belly and a determination to go and tell the world about what you have to offer.

 

You need to be brilliant at forming relationships, honest, committed and hard working. If you are target driven, commercially minded and the type of person who loves to close deals whilst getting huge satisfaction from having done a great job with outstanding service, we want to hear from you.
